At some point(we believe in 2021 or 2022), Triumph started adding a "lip" to the inside of this axle. They did not change axle part numbers, but they did add this tiny lip to aid in retaining the rubber plug that they inserted in the axle at the factory. This lip prevents the TRS pins from going all the way in and *must* be sanded flush with the rest of the axle in order to use the TRS. There are no plans to make accommodations for this lip in any other way as it would create a loose fitment.
